1. Who we are
RecipeOps is operated by Culinary Concierge Solutions. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — meaning we decide how and why your data is processed.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials
- Business data: business name, address, phone, branding settings, tax ID
- Content you create: recipes, ingredients, clients, quotes, invoices, messages and uploaded files
- Support messages: anything you send us when you ask for help
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, device identifiers and telemetry used to keep the service secure and improve it
Payment card and bank details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full payment details.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- Providing the service (contract performance): creating your account, storing your recipes and business data, running quotes, invoices and the client portal
- Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests): protecting accounts and the platform
- Product improvement (legitimate interests): understanding how features are used
- Customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests)
- Marketing (consent, where required): you can opt out at any time
- Legal obligations: records we must keep for tax or regulatory reasons
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run RecipeOps (hosting, analytics, email delivery, support tooling)
- Stripe, for subscription payments, tax calculation and invoicing
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed
- Authorities where required by law
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@culinaryconciergesolutions.com.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and row-level isolation between accounts.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and make the service work. Where we use analytics or marketing cookies, you can manage your preferences through your browser settings.
